2026 Season – Summer Dances

We hope you will all be able to join us this summer in the unique open air setting of Linlithgow Palace, on one or more Wednesday evening from 15th July to 12th August 2026. Dancing starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are now available online below at £13 each, with discounts for pre-organised groups and season tickets. Numbers are limited, and we expect to sell out, so please order as early as you can.

We are not yet able to use the courtyard of Linlithgow Palace. So, weather permitting, we will dance in the Great Hall at the Palace, located on the first floor with access up spiral stone staircases, which may not be suitable for some.

In case of wet weather we will use the nearby Low Port Centre.

As ever, we will have excellent live bands each evening, our fabulous callers Sheila McCutcheon and Seonaid Scott, and an enjoyable mix of ceilidh and country dances. Just come and enjoy, but if you’d like an idea of what the dances will be, see  our 2026 Programme page. Juice and water will be available throughout the evening, also shortbread at the interval.

Linlithgow Palace is easily accessible by foot, bike, road, rail and bus – any good map will help. Because of the restoration work, parking at the Palace itself is very limited, but there is more nearby.
The Low Port Centre is a 5-minute walk from the Palace, or a short drive. Go east along the High Street, left at the roundabout. Then turn first left into the Low Port (the hall is on the left, limited parking on the right) or turn first right to park behind Tesco and walk back to the Centre.

If you would like to book tickets for more than one night at once:

1. select one date first, then the tickets you want, and click “NEXT” to save this.
2. On the next page (Checkout), in “Your cart”, you will see the total dates and tickets so far.
   At the bottom of “My cart” (scroll to see it), click “Buy more tickets”.
3. Select the next date, and its tickets, and click “NEXT” again.
   Repeat this for all the dates you want.
4. In “Your cart”, you should see all the dates and tickets you have selected.
   To correct any, click “Remove” and repeat a previous step with the correct details.
5. Finally, enter your payment details and complete the purchase.
